Project title: increase
productivity and quality in processing silver fish products.
The objectives of the project.
Ø To improve productivity and
quality of silver fish processing and other lead products like cassava,maize..
Ø Promote self reliance among women
Ø Procure higher level processing
machines that process higher quality
Ø Encourage agriculture among women
Ø Increase food and meet production
among women to reduce malnutrition
Ø To reduce HIV/AIDS in women and
ensure women rights
The comparison
between the targets and the progress of the report;
The 50 Women have
installed and running three machines with multipurpose machines that process,
cassava, maize and provide forward linkages to chicken and goats feeds. We have
not trained women due to inflation. It is permanent and self sustaining project
for women. The feeds processing have promoted the agriculture of goats, ducks,
hens and pigs among women.

An explanation on the
achievements and the failures of the project, specifically on the changes in
living standards, income of the women before and after the project:
The achievements were:
a)
We have connected the three
machines and installed for operation. The 50 women have got three machines and
electrified and now process feeds, cassava floor maize and other products. The
women now are to engage in processing and others to involve in trade and
agriculture for self reliance. This is poverty eradication campaign in women.
b)
The multipurpose processer
machine can process beans,soya,millet and sorghum for nutrition and balanced
diet
c)
It has increased incomes and
generating over 50 women by selling processed cassava floor, maize and silver
fish to farmers and women leaving with HIV/AIDS have food, and donated food to
10 women leaving with HIV/AIDS. Processed silver
d)
The maize products have led to
attraction of goat rearing, piggery and chicken in women on small scale
enterprises.
e)
The piggery project is growing
and by September women shall have began
selling piglets 2016
f)
The radio talk shows and press
release have shown raise of self reliance among women in the region. The
education and press gave insight for women gender and women rights for economic
empowerment of rural women.
g)
The millers housing and women
are now housing women traders and men have known women rights of women for
economic sustainability.
